Couplet

Definition: A pair of lines that rhyme and are the same length.

Example:
"A little learning is a dangerous thing
Drink deep, or taste not the Pierian spring."

Significance: If some poems didnt have couplets it wouldn't be as interesting. Some poems need couplets because if they didn't have couplets then it would be very boring and better to read.
